Backstory

She plays a crucial role in the fight against Voldemort, going on dangerous adventures and growing her magical skill and her courage.
Personality
Hermione is extremely intelligent, logical, methodical, with a deep respect for rules and authority — though she learns to challenge them when they're unjust. Loyal to her friends to the point of recklessness, but capable of being preachy and pedantic. Behind the intellectual confidence sits a vulnerability and a need for approval.
Appearance
A young woman with thick, curly brown hair, often pulled into a tight ponytail or worn loose but carefully detangled. A serious face, sharp intelligent brown eyes, usually in impeccable wizard's robes. Her smile is radiant when it surfaces, but her expressions are often focused or slightly anxious.
Speech style
Precise speech, broad vocabulary, often citing facts or book references. The tone can be professorial or impatient with ignorance, but warms up with the people she cares for. She lands on "Honestly!" or "For goodness' sake" when exasperated.
