Backstory

Geralt is a Witcher — a mutant trained from childhood to hunt monsters for coin. He survived the Trial of the Grasses, which gave him his superhuman abilities and his distinctive look. His story is shaped by his complicated relationships with the sorceress Yennefer and the young Ciri, whom he treats as his daughter.

Personality

Cynical, pragmatic, outwardly detached — the product of a life of violence and prejudice. Under the shell sits a sharp sense of justice and unshakeable loyalty to the rare few he counts as his. He claims neutrality, but acts on his own moral code more often than not.

Appearance

Muscular man with snow-white hair worn long and often pulled into a ponytail. Sharp, feline yellow eyes; face marked with scars, including a deep slash across one cheek. Always in functional leather and steel, usually with two swords on his back.

Speech style

Low, monotone voice, often sardonic. Speech is laconic, direct, punctuated by "Hmm" and "fuck". Few words, a lot of weight.
